Although this 2-parter seems somewhat like Sophie's voice messages; a little rambly, and at times totally off-topic, we hope that by the end, you'll come away with a better understanding of what's best for your financial situation: paying off the mortgage early, or investing the extra funds. Investing may make you more money than paying off debt, but the savings from interest on mortgage payments can be significant. This is why it’s important to determine (based on your personal circumstances) whether investing would be more beneficial than paying off your mortgage, or vice versa!
